Beautiful, amazing, wonderful.

I had met Heather at India Restaurant on Hope St. in Providence on my birthday weekend last year. Instantly, I fell in love with Henna. I've had many great designs done on my back, arms, hands and feet. I come all the way to RI (from CT) just to be turned into a work of art. Since she would travel all over New England to do a wedding, party or fair, everyone from all over have to book her for their next function or just track her down! I hired Heather to do henna tattoos for my daughter's Sweet 16 party and to do complicated and elaborate bridal mendi for my daughter and her sister prior to the party. She was extremely professional and dependable in her communications with me, as well as perfectly punctual! Her rates were very reasonable given the quality of her work. Most import, her designs were absolutely gorgeous! I thought that the tatoos would be a big hit at the party for all the kids, but the adults got so excited after seeing her beautiful designs that they all lined up too. Wonderful experience all-around.

I went to a Yelp event that had Heather there doing henna. I had never gotten henna done before but I always thought it looked great. I have always wanted a tatoo also but haven't settled on what it should be so this is perfect since it is not permanant but it also doesn't wash off right away either.

So I sat down not really having a specific design in mind but she looked at me and the jewelry that I wear and came up with a design on the spot for me that I loved and everyone that has seen it has been complimenting it also.

She is self taught also and now is teaching henna as well. So I must say she is great!! I would highly recommend her to anyone.

Heather of Henna by Heather absolutely amazes me with the skill & detail of her artwork. I have gotten Henna artwork from her many times & I always get compliments on designs whenever people see the artwork. I would recommend Heather with no hesitation. She is both a kind person & professional in her dealings with the publlic. Many times I describe the artwork I would like & she creates it everytime, all freestyled. She also can look at a picture & create that image as well. Absolutely amazing, fun for parties & events.

I am so impressed by how much attention Heather pays to every detail of the Henna experience! She really enjoys this art form and it shows! My 6 year old daughter and I had our hands done together and it was a very fun bonding experience--I would recommend going to Heather for "girls night out" or other fun girly get-togethers. Awesome henna artist!: Heather did an excellent job at my son's 10th birthday party! She had great dragons, sports stuff, etc for the kids... and plenty of designs for the adults, too. She was incredibly friendly, and did very speedy work - pretty much 1 minute per design! Yet it still looked just like in the pictures she showed us... All our son's friends and family were very impressed, and we'll definitely be inviting her to join us the next time the opportunity arises!

Recently, I attended a bridal shower where Heather Caunt-Nulton, a certified henna artist, painted the bride, as well as everyone at the party. Heather is an amazing henna artist, with a plethora of other creative talents, as well as a doctoral student at Boston University. She lives in Rhode Island, but travels to many places painting henna designs.

My guests were all very happy with the beautiful henna tattoos Heather gave them. I highly recommend her! The tattoos lasted for weeks for many people.

I can't even count the # of times Heather has hennaed me...

I've come back to Heather to do my henna again and again. She's done work on me ranging from a statue of Nefertari (the Egyptian queen) on my calf, to a Lugh's (celtic) knot on my back, to endless traditional Indian mehndi hand and foot designs. She does airbrush tattoos, face painting, woad, and crystal tattoos, too...although I myself prefer the henna :)

Pros: She does exquisite work and travels *everywhere* - including Boston

I'm a friend, and henna student of Heathers and she does AMAZING work. She has taken her time to find the right tools and mixtures to make her work last, and look great. She has great drawing skills, and any piece she does is wonderful. She's done henna on me about 4 times, and one time my hands and her work were displayed in RISD. I highly reccomend her!!

Extremely talented and sweet henna artist!

Heather has so many gorgeous designs to choose from! It seems she can do just about anything, from traditional Indian and Arabic style hands to more standard Western tattoos. She uses natural brown henna - never that evil PPD black stuff. Plus, her prices are really reasonable.

Heather does beautiful delicate work and really knows her henna history and technique. She's also a talented artist, both reproducing traditional designs and creating her own, both traditional and modern. It's a wonder to watch her at work, tracing the delicate lines with such confidence and artistry. She's also quite inspirational to those of us who like to dabble a little in henna ourselves, providing free designs and advice. I've recommended her for parties and events before and have no hesitation about recommending her here!

I have never seen before, nor have I again Henna as professionally done and gorgeous as heather's. She is by far very flexible and willing to work with you and your needs. The henna is gorgeous with some original and many traditional/hybrid designs and it lasts for quite some time. Definately worth checking out if you want henna done for an event, be it a wedding or party.
