Colleen is a professional henna artist based out of Attleboro, MA. She specializes in traditional Indian designs as well as Japanese inspired designs. She has been drawing on people with various mediums for over ten years and began doing so with henna during the summer of 2007.

Although her career path of psychology research may not seem to be an obvious fit for a henna artist, Colleen has been artistically inclined for most of her life. She surprised her family by not going to art or fashion school and choosing to pursue the sciences instead, but is constantly seeking creative outlets. In addition to henna Colleen also makes her own clothing, knits, trims hats, and creates unique home décor items. She feels that henna provides her with an opportunity to create interactive, ephemeral body art that brings beauty and happiness to people, making it one of her most satisfying artistic pursuits.
