Chigusa's style is a mixture of her backgrounds as an artist, traveler and eternal student. Her designs are organic and detailed. She creates both traditional patterns with henna as well as off the cuff freeform designs. Her influences range from Ed Hardy's tattoo art to Yoshitoshi's Japanese prints. She studied art at Oberlin College and Kansai Gaidai in Japan and currently, has found providence in Federal Hill of Rhode Island.
