Artistic Adornment is a group of Southern New England henna artists working together to promote the beautiful ancient artform of mehndi, also known as henna.

It's a very loose collective...basically we call on each other when we have huge, exciting projects that are too big for one person to handle, when one of us gets a call for a gig but can't do it for some reason, and for occassional artist meet-ups. The most important of these is the annual Northeast Henna Gathering.

Our most recent group project was doing henna for the New Designers Fashion Show in Providence, RI on February 12, 2010. Photos should be available by March.
